About Me

I come from a food-loving, Cajun family, but more importantly, a cake-loving family. It was one of the first things I learned how to bake at 14, and I have been an avid home baker since that first cake!

Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, I moved to Seattle in the summer of 2017 for a career in microbiology. I stumbled my way through biotech for 5 years before I decided sitting at a computer and working for a corporation were not for me. I became a professional pastry baker in 2022, but cake still calls to me! So here I am.

About Achée

Achée is a family surname meaning hatchet in French. It was my grandmother, Sybil’s, maiden name.
